The elementary and Intermediate drawing grade exams conducted by Art Directorate of Govt.of Maharashtra are mandatory for art specialized courses like fine arts, commercial art. It gives additional knowledge and edge over others for designing specific fields like fashion, interior, textile, product and many more.
Exams conducted every year in the last week of September in states of Maharashtra, Goa, M.P., Gujrat, Rajasthan, U.P., Andhra Pradesh with 4 subjects – memory drawing, still life ( object drawing), design, geometry & lettering.
